Enjoy a traditional Culture Echoes airport welcome upon arrival, where you will be presented with a symbolic Kente scarf representing your return to the Motherland. You will then be transferred privately to your hotel for check-in and have time to relax after your flight.

Evening – Welcome Dinner & Orientation
In the evening, meet your fellow travelers and Culture Echoes hosts over a welcome dinner, followed by an introduction to Ghanaian culture and an overview of the exciting journey ahead.

The day also includes a guided walking tour through Jamestown, offering a deeper look into the city’s history and local life.

Spend your evening at leisure exploring Osu’s vibrant nightlife, with a variety of restaurants, lounges, and entertainment spots to choose from.

Travel to Cape Coast for a powerful day of remembrance, reflection, and reconnection. Begin with a visit to the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park, known as the “Last Bath” site where enslaved Africans took their final bath before being transported across the Atlantic. Take part in a traditional African naming ceremony, offering a meaningful opportunity to reclaim identity and reconnect spiritually with your ancestral heritage. Continue with a guided tour of the Cape Coast Castle, where you will walk through the historic dungeons and experience the emotional Door of No Return.

Enjoy seaside dining at a Cape Coast restaurant, with calming ocean views to complement the day’s experience.
